quilt con blocks

I bought a Michael Miller Quilt Con Bundle from the Fat Quarter Shop a while back and it sat.
(ps. the new Michael Miller Couture Solids are very soft)

It sat until I was given this old pattern for the STLMQG free table and got inspired!

I cut!

I sewed!
Simple.
Two strips for each color, that are the same width.
Sew white strips at 45 degree angles, one left, one right to each colored strip.

Sew them up, to make a "v", matching the seams.

Trim your "v's" to varying heights and sew them together.

I was originally going to sew these together to make one big block, but finally decided that three separate blocks might be more versatile for the MQG to use in their charity quilts.
Only time will tell if mine get selected for the main raffle quilt; that would be pretty awesome, but hey we gotta play it one game at a time right?  No worries.
